MeraNews Network, Gandhinagar: The 2019 Vibrant Gujarat Summit, slated to be held from January 18 to 20 next year will not just focus on bringing in investment to the state, but on the trade aspect too. The state government will hold road shows in European countries like Sweden, Finland and Denmark, where secretary to Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani would lead a delegation of top business leaders to showcase the state as an investment destination in sectors like infrastructure development, urban planning, logistics and financial services.

Several major European players like Nokia, Nova Nordisk, Volvo and Maersk have their operations in India too. The latest to jump in this fray are IKEA, SAAB and H&M, looking to increase their presence in the subcontinent.

The delegation will be interacting with such companies and promote the opportunities available in the state for investment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present at the ninth edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit being held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
