MeraNews Network, New Delhi: A study conducted in the United States reveals that India leads the way as the hardest working country. Sixty-nine percent of full-time employees in India, according to the study, are happy with the 5-day work week.

Mexico was the second-highest at 43 percent of workers, followed by the US at 27 percent. The study found workers in the United Kingdom, France, and Australia was the least content with the standard five-day workweek.

For this study, the survey was carried out amongst 2, 700 full and part-time employees living in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Mexico, the UK, and the US.

The study also found that in the matter of overtime, US leads the way with  49 percent clocking more than 40 hours each week. This was followed by India (44 percent), Mexico (40 percent) and Germany (38 percent).
