Mumbai: Controversies and reality shows go hand in hand. MTV India’s Roadies is one such show which has been mired in controversies for some time. This year, many people slammed the youth-centric entertainment TV channel’s niche reality show for its attempts at gaining viewers and publicity at the expense of its contestants.

Last Sunday, Kanwalpreet Singh, one of the contestants who had auditioned for Roadies Xtreme, took to social media where the slammed about the double standards that the reality show was perpetrated against him and how the judges verbally bullied by Neha Dhupia, Nikhil Chinnapa, Prince Narula, Rapper Raftaar and Rannvijay, the judges of the show during the final leg of the auditions, the personal interview round.

In a Facebook video posted from his page, Singh says that the show Roadies can go to any extent for some publicity and he was wrongly subjected to humiliation when the judges slammed him for kissing a girl in his school in class 6.

Singh, who is best known for his roles in films like Tamasha’ and shows like Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma’ was subjected to a humiliating verbal volley of insults during the 6th episode of MTV Roadies which was aired on 24th March 2018.
