Meranews, Ahmedabad: India will aim to wrap up the three-match Twenty20 cricket series against Australia at the ACA-Barsapara stadium in Guwahati on Tuesday, having won the rain-hit first game at Ranchi on Sunday.

The Virat Kohli-led side, which clinched the One-Day International (ODI) series 4-1 on the way to regaining the No.1 spot in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings, won the Ranchi match by 9 wickets after being set a target of 49 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.

Tuesday’s match will be the first international game at Guwahati’s ACA-Barsapara stadium, and Australia, led by stand-in captain David Warner in the absence of Steve Smith, will look for a better performance from the middle order to keep their hopes alive in the series.

Warner earlier insisted that his team was not let down by their defeat in the first match and will continue with the Australian brand of cricket in the remaining two games.
