MeraNews Network, Gandhinagar: Five more persons were arrested on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in the LRD Jawan paper leak that occurred on Sunday afternoon. The main conspirator behind this leak is still on the run. The arrested persons were said to be in constant touch with the other accused in the case Jayendra Rawal (Aravalli BJP general secretary), Rupal Sharma (rector, Shri Ram Hostel) and Manhar Patel. The cops would be interrogating them to know more details about the leak.

The Gandhinagar Police arrested Jayendra Rawal, Narendra Chaudhury (Brother of BJP leader Mukesh Chaudhury), Ajaysinh Parmar, Uttam Singh Bhati, and Pritesh Patel, who were in regular contact with Rupal Sharma and Manhar Patel 10 days before the exams. Meanwhile, the wife of another accused, Yashpalsinh Solanki’s, who is absconding ever since the paper leak was revealed, said that her husband is being framed by some powerful individuals. Divyabha, the wife of Yashpal added that her husband could have never travelled to Delhi to leak the paper as he didn’t even have enough money to fund the trip. The four accused who were arrested on Monday has been sent on a ten-day remand.

Yashpalsinh is said to have travelled to Delhi on November 29 with Manhar Patel, who had allegedly promised him Rs 1 crore to leak the paper.
