Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Sunday asserted that the state government is determined to curb the corruption from the administration by utilizing the latest technologies and making every people oriented procedure transparent and online.
Speaking at the ‘Siromani Sanmaan Programme’ function jointly organized by India News Gujarat and Chamber of Commerce at Sarsana Convention Hall in Surat, Rupani said that Gujarat is at the center of deliberations across the country. Gujarat has given stalwarts leaders like the father of nation Mahatma Gandhi, Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Morarji Desai, including present Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and others.
Gujarat has created its own distinctive identity. The state government is working toward utilizing the technologies to make every people oriented works possibly be done through an online system, including permission of NA for land using an online map, to avoid people taking the hassle of visiting the concern offices and prevention of corruption, the Chief Minister said.
He added that the corruption-free government has won the confidence of the people and people have total faith in intention and devotion of the government.
Expressing firm determination of the government in developing skilled youth force in Gujarat, Chief Minister said that under the Chief Minister Apprenticeship Scheme one lakh youth would be given skill development training at service centers and industries. Each of these youth would be given an apprentice stipend total of Rs 9,000 per month, where Rs 3,000 each would be from the state government, central government and the industrial house.
Rupani also made deliberations about Maa Amrutam Yojna, Gyankunj Project (Education), medical colleges on a partnership basis in tribal belts, educational Wi-Fi zones and others.
